1. Is there any alternative to water when it comes to washing? I mean, water is pretty valuable to be used in sewage and washing of ... well ... everything! Is there an alternative (in use, or just on paper)? Actually there is an alternative to using water for sewage, but is there an alternative to using water for washing?

2. Since oil is made up from organic elements (C,H,O), is it possible to make food out of oil?? Well, probably not, but I'd like to hear your opinion.

You could use some other sort of chemical, but water has the benefits of being non-toxic, liquid, appropriately volatile and, in most places, very available.

You could make most carbohydrates, simple proteins etc. out of oil without adding any new atoms. It would just involve a shitload of energy.

Sonic washing is available, it is how most astronauts are cleaned of dirt so it cannot float and contaminate things in space.

It uses high frequency waves to vibrate material and thus shakes off dust and dirt while a vacuum pulls the now free particulate away.

There are also cleaning techniques for the body which involve abrasives.  Such as a sand bath.

1.  Nothing practical.  As was said by others, water is far too available for us to bother with any alternative solvent.

2. No.  And you can't make proteins from oil no matter how much energy you put in.  The only thing you can make from oil is oil (for your fat intake) and carbohydrates (strictly from a theoretical standpoint because it would, as Samsoniteman put it, take a shitload of energy) but thats about it.  Oil (both triglycerdies and crude) has no nitrogen.  Without nitrogen intake, we would quickly die.  No proteins, few vitamins (if any), and no minerals can be made from oil.
